Dragon's Lair Deluxe Pack is a compilation of three games previously released in several software formats. The interface requires that only a few keys be used as the player has no direct control over the actual movement of the character. Movement is simply a matter of pressing the right key at the exact moment required by the program in order for the story and character to continue advancing. In Dragon's Lair, originally released in Arcade form in 1983, Dirk the Daring, a valiant knight, must rescue a helpless princess from the clutches of an evil dragon named Singe. To do so, Dirk must fight his way through and under a castle that has been filled with monsters and obstacles through a sinister enchantment by a dark wizard. Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp builds its story around a similar theme but this time the princess has been imprisoned in a wrinkle of time by the evil wizard Mordroc. Dirk the Daring must once again brave the fierce and deadly monsters and traps set for him by the wizard. It's a race against time, as once the Casket of Doom has been opened, Princess Daphne will be forced.
